How to Fix Blur App Display on Windows 10 PC Laptop – Actually, I just found out about this problem and I encountered it when I used a new Gaming Laptop, because of the habit of working using a PC, I felt a little uncomfortable with the display resolution on the Laptop I was using.

The screen image seems to be small, then when I increase the screen scaling to 125% finally this problem appears, namely there are several applications whose screen appearance seems to be blurry, one of them is like this:

After that, I thought maybe the Windows OS that I was using was having problems, or because of the effects of using certain applications and some Windows settings that I had changed, I finally decided to reinstall the OS.

Finally? the same problem still appeared, then I updated the VGA Driver which could be the cause, after I updated it, the result was still the same! until finally, I couldn’t solve this problem for 1 full night.
The next day, I came to a conclusion and found the main problem occurred, the main problem came from the Scaling feature in Windows 10.
For your information, I am currently using a Laptop from Asus ROG GL533VD which has a screen resolution of 1080por often called FullHD, it turns out that this is the problem.
If I continue to use Scaling 100% then the display of some applications will still be normal, but the problem is that the images and text that appear are so small and feel uncomfortable for me to look at.
So I decided to use Scaling 125%, images and text are Ideal for me to see, but some applications become Blur.
Then what really happened? The answer to this question is easy because some of these applications can’t adapt to the Windows Scaling feature, right! only that.
So it makes sense if an application like Winrar becomes Blur because the Scaling feature can’t work well on the application, what happens is that the image is only like Zoom, so it’s natural to be Blur.
How to Fix Blur Application Image on Windows 10
So actually you can solve this problem easily, namely in the following way:
1. Please first open the Display Settings menu, by going to the Desktop, Right Click >> Display Settings.
2. Then please look at the Scale and Layout section, then press the Advanced Scaling Settings option.
3. Make sure the Let Windows Try To Fix apps so Their Blurry option is active, like this:
4. In the Custom Scaling section, please fill in 110%, 115%, or 120%, just adjust which one you like.
5. Finally, then please press Apply and do Sign Out so that the settings you have applied for work.
6. Done!
Actually, this method does not solve the Blur problem in certain applications 100%. However, it’s more to improve, the appearance is still Blur, but not as bad as in the 125% Scaling Setting.
For me, the setting that works best for me is 110%, with Blur on applications that are almost invisible.
However, if you really don’t want to see the appearance of the application being blurry at all, then please select the 100% Scaling option., then this will be the maximum and best display screen that can be displayed by your laptop monitor screen.
